This group focuses on the needs and views of the carers when developing new patient pathways. The Patients' Council aims to support the great work that is already being done by many local and national groups. However, the Patients' Council believes that the role of carers is not fully integrated into the development of patient pathways.

The group is chaired by Anna Sidebottom, whom for many years was her parent’s prime carer, and is supported by a group of members.

·         Out of Hours Services

·         Training for Carers (Moving and Handling)
